Des Scobey was born in El Paso, TX. She is a film director, film editor, photographer, actress, and writer. At age 22, she began stepping into her future by doing personal projects, and honing in on her creative abilities. When asked to describe her work, she often uses poetic, and moody, adjectives to describe her underlying yearning. She talks about the nature of her surreal work living between the lines and bringing to life the visual parts of herself that have been misunderstood. She finds that the dark holds truth and wants to bring a surreal haunting to her work. Her growing brand portfolio of clients select her for bringing a street credibility to their lifestyle work. There is an authenticity that makes her work believable and showcases her brand in its best light. In 2024, new Los Angeles based handbag brand Demmie selected Des to show her initial product launch. Des was also the DP, Director and editor of shorter projects such as:

Scripted (2023), Geometry (2019), Laspe (2023), Error code 508 (2024) and many others. Des works with many emerging music artists to create short film based music videos. For example, She was hired by Savage Nightengale to create the acclaimed campy horror film for the single ManEater (2024). Des is currently based in Los Angeles and is available to travel for work projects anywhere on the globe.
